Funding Bodies

yipworld.com has been awarded a total of £100,000 from two funding bodies - Ayrshire LEADER and the Coalfield Regeneration Trust to provide an innovative employment/training scheme for young men aged 16 - 22 years. The venture is called Men into Childcare and will be directed by Allan Gray, Training Manager.

The concept is to introduce young men to the world of employment via childcare and youth work. Contracted at 24 hours per week for the period of one year, the young employees will work within a childcare placement including yipworld.com; work towards qualifications that will enhance their employment prospects; provide a strong and valuable work ethic and discipline culture and encourage them to consider a future career in care; nursing; social work or primary teaching.
