Membership Rules
These are the Rules every member agrees to. You must agree to and understand the following:
- Members are expected to treat themselves and others with respect.
- Bullying is not acceptable and nobody should be abused because of his or her ability, age, sex, religion, race or views.
- Members are expected to treat the building and equipment with respect. Damage and vandalism are not acceptable.
- Members are responsible for their own possessions and should respect the possessions of other people. It is not acceptable t o steal or to bring stolen property on to the premises at any time.
- No members should access web sites which depict sexually explicit or violent images as this can be deemed illegal under Scots law.
- yipworld.com is a violence free zone, and bullying or threats of any kind will not be tolerated.
- yipworld.com is a drug and alcohol free zone. This means possessing, using, supplying or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on the premises will not be tolerated.
- Chewing gum is NOT allowed. Anyone caught defacing any part of the building or equipment by sticking gum to it will be dealt with a lengthy ban.
- Absolutely no food or drink in the IT suite at any time.
- No swearing at any time.
- Show respect for all staff and volunteers ie. No answering back.
Minor offences will be punished with a short ban of 48 hours. More serious offences will be punished with a 1 month ban. All bans however are at the staff member's discretion and can be altered accordingly.
