Primary & Secondary Schools

Yipworld staff have worked in primary schools through Ayrshire, delivering programmes which develop confidence and self-esteem, health and wellbeing, online safety and general engagement.

Informal learning includes workshops, activities and games to engage pupils and is tailored to each school’s needs and can include working on a one-to-one basis and in small groups for some of the pupils in need of more intensive support.

Yipworld’s work in schools is developed to compliment the curriculum for excellence and to support schools in ensuring that their pupils are safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected, responsible and included.

In secondary schools throughout Ayrshire, yipworld have provided an alternative curriculum with modules covering a range of topics including basic life skills and independent living, employability and preparation for work, money management and more, culminating in the award of SCQF points. Delivery is complimented by workshops and activities aimed to engage pupils and reinforce learning.
