Youth Connects is yipworld’s brand-new peer mentoring programme designed to empower young people to become mentors within our youth services.  This innovative project gives young people the opportunity to support their peers, gain real-life experience and develop key life skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Participants are guided through a structured training programme in the essential qualities and skills required for them to succeed as mentors. As they progress, mentors take on more responsibility, volunteering across our services, helping to plan and lead small sessions and building their confidence along the way.

Mentors are recognised for their hard work through achieving their Saltire Award, gaining access to support with college applications and enjoying exclusive incentives, including fun trips and exclusive Youth Connects merchandise.

Youth Connects is ideal for young people who want to grow, inspire others and make a positive difference in our community.
